The MAS-100 CG Ex
®
system is for use when there is a need to test compressed gases for
microbial contamination. In fact, it is the only compressed gas microbial air sampler approved for use in Zone 2 explosion hazard areas. It collects samples under gas pressure, after which gradual decompression occurs: this avoids possible damage to the microorganisms. Utilizing two sensors, one to measure mass flow and the other for pressure, the unit collects samples under the pressure of the gas supply. This unique system makes compressed gas sampling safe, easy and accurate.
